The Pres. stated on Good Morning America Thursday:
“I had already made a decision that we were going to probably take this position before the election and before the convention. Joe Biden probably got out a little bit over his skis, but out of generosity of spirit. I would have preferred to have done this in my own way, on my own terms… all’s well that ends well.”
We are obviously BEYOND beaming after hearing the Pres’ position on marriage equality…
But it’s not just about giving gay and lesbian couples the same rights as straight couples, this is about the much LARGER issue of seeing each other as fellow human beings!
While we are all individuals who have vastly different tastes and preferences, we are all still members of the human race and the ONLY way to maintain peace and progress is via global, mutual respect…

Matthew Fox Charged With DUI

Actor Matthew Fox was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) on Wednesday following his arrest last Friday, according to reports.
The Lost star, 45, was reportedly on his way to grab a late night snack when he was busted by cops in his home state of Oregon after 3am.
He was taken into custody and released later that day, but he has now been charged with two misdemeanours – driving under the influence and driving without a license, reports People.com.
Fox’s arraignment is scheduled for 7 June.

Michael Jackson’s Estate ‘settles Royalties Battle With Thriller Model’

The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate have settled a royalty battle with the former Playboy model who starred in his iconic Thriller video, according to a report.
Ola Ray, who played Jackson’s girlfriend in the groundbreaking promo, filed a lawsuit against the King of Pop shortly before he died in 2009, claiming she was still owed unpaid royalties stemming from her appearance in the video.
Her lawyer insisted she was owed a “substantial sum”, claiming the copyright value of the Thriller video is worth millions – and TMZ.com reported on Thursday that estate chiefs have reached a settlement with Ray.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Amber Riley Brushes Off Glee Departure Reports

Actress Amber Riley has played down reports she is leaving Glee for good, insisting her tweet on the subject was “misconstrued”.
The 26 year old, who plays Mercedes Jones on the musical series, was rumored to be bidding farewell to the show at the end of the current third season as her character graduates from school – and she fueled the gossip with a post on her Twitter.com page on Wednesday).
She told fans, “That’s a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life. I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them every day! I have so many brothers and sisters now. But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! School’s Out Glee Kids! Let’s play!”
However, Riley returned to the microblogging site on Thursday to address the speculation about her future on the show.
In a series of posts, she writes, “My tweet apparently has been misconstrued. I was not confirming I was leaving the show. Just stating that I would miss being in the classroom every day with the cast and that would be changing.
“Thanks for the support guys. That’s the good and bad thing about Twitter. It can be used to extinguish rumors but it also spreads them like wildfire!”
