Brooks Leads Country Music Hall Of Fame Inductees

Singer Garth Brooks is set to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame later this year.
Brooks will be celebrated in the Modern Era Artist category, Smith willround out the Veterans Era Artist category and Robbins, who has worked with Bob Dylan and Loretta Lynn, will be feted in the Recording and/or Touring Musician Active Prior to 1980 category.
And Friends in Low Places hitmaker Brooks couldn’t be more thrilled.
He says, “I am astounded and honored to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame. At the same time, I can’t help but feel guilty going in when there are so many deserving artists that came before me who are yet to be inducted.”
This year’s additions will increase membership within the prestigious organization to 118.

The latest rumor in the strange saga of Rihanna and Chris Brown comes to us from Ms. Karrueche Tran, his girlfriend, and an interesting remark she wrote on Facebook.

This weekend, Rihanna Tweeted the following picture with the caption “Ima make u my bitch.” Some actually interpreted this as a veiled shot at Karrueche Tran:
In response, or maybe just randomly, Karreuche took to Facebook and made a comment that sure seems like a commentary on Chris’ relationship status.
That and the fact that she’s got the upper hand. She wrote on Facebook:
“I’m Angelina, You’re Jen. C’mon you see where Brad is at.”
If that was a diss, it was a decent one. Nice use of celebrity gossip knowledge to make the point that Chris Brown is hers now and imply that he’s got no interest in Rih.

I think I was Team Gale until he started getting a little too trigger-happy. Or maybe first Peeta and then Gale or Gale, then Peeta? I went back and forth. I flip-flopped.
So says Jennifer Lawrence in the latest issue of Seventeen, underscoring just how difficult it is for fans of The Hunger Games to decide between Gale and Peeta, the two young men right smack in the middle of Katniss Everdeen’s dangerous life.
But decide Katniss and company must, as Liam Hemsworth takes on the key role of Gale in the upcoming big screen adaption and Josh Hutcherson plays Peeta.

Marcus Vick Jailed For Contempt of Court

Michael Vick got popped this weekend for contempt of court.
Marcus turned himself in to authorities in Newport News, Va., on Sunday after a warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to appear for two court dates.
Those dates stem from a suspended license charge, and by not showing, Marcus not only joins our celebrity mug shot page, but will spend 10 days in jail.
Sweet deal. He will then be transferred to officials in Montgomery County, Va., to face separate charges stemming from an unrelated incident. Great.
According to reports, Vick failed to pay a $40,000 settlement in a civil case in which he was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl in 2008.
Marcus Vick was 19 at the time.
Vick was booted off the Virginia Tech football team back in 2006 following a string of arrests and has been involved in multiple legal issues since.

Antwaun Cook: Losing Interest in Fantasia, Putting it to Ex-Wife Paula on the Side?

just had a baby with shady boyfriend Antwaun Cook, but he’s already running around, according to reports … with his estranged wife.
According to insiders, Antwaun regrets giving up on Paula Cook and their two kids and while Paula is very hurt, relations are thawing between them.
Possibly while naked, we’re saying.
“Paula and Antwaun both ended up at Club RE:Public in Charlotte over the weekend and things got a little cozy between the two,” the source said.
“I don’t know where Fantasia was, but she definitely wasn’t in the club where they were! Antwaun was shoving his tongue down Paula’s throat.”
The source continued by saying that while Paula was receptive, she did not want to make a scene and was still a little gun-shy with all the PDA.
However, “he told Paula she belongs to him because she’s still his wife!”
So according to this story, the home-wrecker, who was also accused of cheating on Fantasia in January, is wrecking a new home with his old one.
“What Fantasia doesn’t know is that through all of this, Paula hasn’t changed the locks on the house she once shared with Antwaun,” the source said.
“And Antwaun still has keys, so you can put two and two together.”
“Antwaun has lost interest in Fantasia,. He was even egging people on to take pictures of him and Paula together … he didn’t care who knew.”
