University of Arkansas Head Football Coach Bobby Petrino was placed on administrative leave yesterday after he admitted to a “previous inappropriate relationship” with a former student and current school employee.
Athletic Director Jeff Long made the announcement at a press conference, as the news came to light after Petrino was involved in a motorcycle accident this week and forced to admit he was riding with 25-year old Jessica Dorrell.

“I’m at the beginning of the review. I don’t know what I’m going to find,” Long said. “I hope to have a resolution soon. I certainly don’t have all the answers here tonight, as we meet. But again, I have an obligation and responsibility to obtain the information and then act appropriately on that information.”
Petrino is married with four children.
Said Petrino – who is already widely hated by football fans after he bailed on the Atlanta Falcons in 2007, just 13 games into his first season at their helm – in a statement:
“My concern was to protect my family and a previous inappropriate relationship from becoming public,” he said. “In hindsight, I showed a serious mistake in judgment when I chose not to be more specific about those details. Today, I’ve acknowledged this previous inappropriate relationship with my family and those within the athletic department administration.
“I will fully cooperate with the university throughout this process and my hope is to repair my relationships with my family, my athletic director, the Razorback Nation and remain the head coach of the Razorbacks.”

$70 million in damages and unpaid compensation.
Olbermann says that the inept “Al Gore, Joel Hyatt and the management of Current are no more than dilettantes portraying entertainment industry executives.”
Keith claims his “public termination” was “the latest in a series of increasingly erratic and unprofessional actions undertaken by Current’s senior management.”

Hilariously, Olbermann actually accuses Current of enticing him to leave MSNBC – which unceremoniously canned him also – by making promises it failed to deliver on.
Keith says Current is so dysfunctional and broke after the network’s first eight months on the air that is “still couldn’t manage to, literally, keep the lights on.”
Olbermann is suing for breach of contract, sabotage and disparagement.
Current responded that he’s liar, a bully and a terrible person, basically.
The network has fired back at the Countdown host, claiming his $70 million lawsuit is “false and malicious” and Olbermann got fired for breach of contract.
A rep for Current added, “As the old adage says: ‘When the law is on your side, you argue the law. When the facts are on your side, you argue the facts.”
“When neither the law nor the facts are on your side, pound the table.’”
“We will be happy to engage on the law and the facts. It is well established that over his career, Mr. Olbermann has specialized in pounding the table.”
The network concludes with this: “We hope Mr. Olbermann understands that when it comes to the legal process, he is actually required to show up.”

on American Idol Thursday for a certain long-haired singer with a high-pitched singing voice.
But it was an incredible evening for fans of Jennifer Lopez, or sexiness general, as the judge premiered the full-length music video for “Dance Again.”
It featured such lines as “I love to make love to you, baby. So many ways I wanna touch you tonight,” along with the sort of moves you would expect to accompany these lyrics, many of them performed with Casper Smart, J. Lo’s 24-year old boyfriend.
Prepare a cold shower and watch the steamy action now:

Boo! We hope this guy gets convicted too!
British bailiff Keith Beams has been charged for assaulting two people and damaging a photographers camera while he was supposed to be “peacefully” evicting Occupy London protestors on January 30th.
It’s such a shame when the authorities respond with violence against citizens practicing their right to hold public demonstrations.
The abusive bailiff is set to appear before magistrates on April 13th. Hopefully this will remind others tasked with dispersing protestors that violence is NEVER the answer.
If only American courts would hold some officials responsible for similar incidents…
