Charlie’s Attack Triggered By Brooke’s Divorce Confession!

It seems that Charlie Sheen‘s attack on his wife Brooke Mueller was due to his reaction after hearing from her that she wanted a divorce.
The two had gone out to dinner on Christmas Eve with their sober minders, individuals who help people with substance abuse issues stay away from drugs and alcohol. But, unfortunately, they were not doing their job!
Charlie and Brooke were drinking heavily that night – with Brooke consuming more than her troubled hubby. The couple began to argue.
“Brooke told Charlie, ‘I want a divorce,’” claims a source. “She said she was leaving him for good.”
Sheen became furious and attacked her. Although he did not hold a knife to her throat, Charlie did threaten her while holding the sharp implement.
That’s bad enough for us – and grounds for Brooke’s restraining order!

Janet And Brothers Have Claim In Michael’s Estate!

It seems that Janet Jackson, along with her brothers, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy, are all possible creditors in Michael Jackson‘s estate.
The amount that they have to gain is unclear, but Janet did front some of the cost of Michael’s funeral.
Attorney for the Jackson estate, Howard Weitzman, divulged that the brothers have an ongoing royalties claim, therefore are potential creditors.
Also a creditor… Michael’s spiritual advisor, Rev. June Juliet Gatlin.

At a roller rink! How retro!
Paramore singer Hayley Williams was on the receiving end of a surprise birthday party for the big 2-1 by a bunch of her close friends including Taylor Swift!
Hayley showed her appreciation for her skating party on her Twitter:
“Totally surprised tonight by all my friends. We took over the roller rink. Don’t know why I ever have a care in the world with friends like mine. Thanks to everyone that came out tonight! Skate or die, indeed.”
T-Swizzle also took to her Twitter to talk about the big party:
“Just leaving (Hayley’s) surprise bday party… Roller skates were worn, Hanson was played. PARTY! Go Hayley!”

Roman Polanski Wants To Say Thanks!

It’s not everyday a man can have an indecent relationship with a underage girl, flee the country to avoid persecution, and still be revered by some simply because he happens to make some movies.
What a wonderful world we live in!
Roman Polanski has written a letter to all of his fans and supporters and has posted it through his friend, Benard-Henri Lévy, thanking all of his new “friends” for their support. This is the first public statement he has made since he was arrested in Switzerland. He writes:
My dear Bernard-Henri Lévy, what you have said in the Swiss press is true — I have been overwhelmed by the number of messages of support and sympathy I have received in Winterthur prison, and that I continue to receive here, in my chalet in Gstaad, where I am spending the holidays with my wife and my children.
These messages have come from my neighbors, from people all over Switzerland, and from beyond Switzerland — from across the world. I would like every one of them to know how heartening it is, when one is locked up in a cell, to hear this murmur of human voices and of solidarity in the morning mail. In the darkest moments, each of their notes has been a source of comfort and hope, and they continue to be so in my current situation.
I would like to be able to answer all of them. But it is impossible: there are too many. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could reply? Perhaps in your journal, La Règle du jeu, which has supported me from the very first day? Perhaps you could disseminate these few words I’m sending you? I don’t know. I’ll leave it up to you.
Happy holidays to you and yours — and, through you, to all of these unknown friends whom I am discovering day after day, and who have helped me so much.

Mark Wahlberg lives on a quiet street in Beverly Hills – at least, he did until the Beckhams moved in!
And David Beckham is not an easy neighbor. His presence attracts a slew of paparazzi 24/7 and Wahlberg is pissed!
The actor says:
“Man, the Beckhams. It used to be so quiet on my road. Then David moves in with his family. Suddenly we’ve got paparazzi hanging out day and night. Now they’ll follow any car that drives down the road…I’m not telling Beckham to take his family home. I’m just not sure why he came to America in the first place. Man, we don’t want your soccer. There’s no way Americans are going to buy the idea of 90 minutes of running around without much happening. Thanks for trying guys, but we’ll stick to baseball and basketball.”
He’s not gonna leave in the name of America’s disdain for soccer, but better luck next time!

Doctor Parnassus Forgotten At The Box Office

While Sherlock Holmes and Avatar were box office hits over the weekend, Heath Ledger‘s last film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus had a poor showing in the US.
It barely made $130,000 in sales from the four theaters that were featuring the film.
We blame marketing, a limited release AND bad timing!
So sad considering this film had a huge opportunity to make $$$.

Sources are revealing that Tiger was spotted canoodling with the mistress who started it all, Rachel Uchitel in Palm Beach this weekend.
Tiger and Rachel attended a huge bash at a private mansion yesterday, where they were seen holding hands and mingling with the three hundred guests. They were also seen together Saturday night at the Everglades Club.
