Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Reuniting To Headline Hip-hop Festival

Rappers Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are putting their differences aside to reunite and belatedly mark their 20th anniversary at the Rock the Bells festival series this summer.
The Tha Crossroads hitmakers formed in 1991 as a five-piece, but the veteran rappers were reduced to a trio early last year when both Wish Bone and Krayzie Bone walked out of the group to pursue solo endeavours.
Now Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone and Flesh-n-Bone are planning to celebrate their career longevity by coming together to headline the 2012 Rock the Bells hip-hop concerts.
They will perform their hit album E. 1999 Eternal in its entirety and also pay tribute to late mentor Eazy-E, who died in 1995.
The two-day festival dates will also feature the live return of Missy Elliott and her longtime collaborator Timbaland, while Method Man and Redman will team up to perform their album Blackout from start to finish.
Nas, Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Cube, Lupe Fiasco and J. Cole are also among the artists on this year’s bill.
The event will be staged twice in California – in San Bernardino and Mountain View – in August and in New Jersey in September.
Organisers of the Rock the Bells festival have become known for bringing old bandmates back together – Lauryn Hill introduced her former Fugees pal Pras Michel to the New York stage last year, while legendary group A Tribe Called Quest reunited for the 2008 and 2010 gigs.

Jennifer Lopez Crowned World’s Most Powerful Celebrity By Forbes

Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez has been crowned the World’s Most Powerful Celebrity by Forbes magazine.
The On the Floor hitmaker and American Idol judge raked in a whopping $52 million over the last year, helping Lopez land the coveted top spot on the new 100 list, which ranks stars according to their visibility, income and social media presence.
Coming in second place was TV titan Oprah Winfrey, while pop star Justin Bieber claimed third spot.
Rounding out the top five are Umbrella hitmaker Rihanna and last year’s number one, Lady Gaga, while The X Factor’s newest recruit Britney Spears, reality TV beauty Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Tom Cruise and moviemaker Steven Spielberg have made the 2012 top 10.

John Lennon’s Murderer Transferred To New Prison

John Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapman has been transferred to a new prison after spending 31 years in a maximum security facility in Attica, New York.
Chapman gunned down the Beatles legend outside his Big Apple home in December, 1980, and was sentenced the following year to 20-years-to-life behind bars.
He has spent the past three decades locked up at Attica Correctional Facility, but on Tuesday, he was moved to another high-security prison, Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, near Buffalo.
Representatives for the state prison system have not disclosed the reason for Chapman’s transfer.
He has been eligible for parole since 2000, but had his request denied for the sixth time in September, 2010.
Chapman will be able to make another bid for freedom in August.

Paul Michael Glaser ‘arrested For Drug Possession’

Starsky & Hutch icon Paul Michael Glaser was arrested on Friday on suspicion of drug possession, according to a report.
The actor, 69, was taken into custody in Bowling Green, Kentucky after cops were called to his Hilton Garden Inn hotel room following complaints from guests who allegedly smelled marijuana.
Glaser, who was subsequently cited for possession, allegedly has a medical marijuana prescription in California but it does not apply in other states.
Law enforcement officials confirmed the news to the National Enquirer.
Representatives for Glaser had yet to return requests for a comment as WENN went to press.

Megan Fox turns 26 today and allow us to offer this piece of advice to anyone wanting to with her a happy birthday AND a happy pregnancy:
Stick to the former. Fox can be a bit prickly when asked about the latter.
Still, between you and us, the actress and Brian Austin Green are reportedly expecting their first child together and we wish them nothing but the best.
Professionally, meanwhile, Fox is starting to land roles that see her as much more than a pretty face. She appeared this year in critically-acclaimed hit Friends with Kids and will next be seen in the quasi Knocked Up sequel/spinoff, This is 40.

Snooki Looking to Give Birth in Leopard Print

So far, Snooki hasn’t let her pregnancy cramp her style. She intends on making sure that’s the case, too, even in the process of cranking that kid out.
The 24-year-old mother-to-be is saying that she wants to keep it trendy right up until she gives birth, and that means leopard print in the delivery room.
Effing Snooki.
“I want to wear, like, leopard shoes and a leopard gown, like the hospital gowns that they have. I think that would be cute,” the Jersey Shore star said last week.
Depending on the sex of her child, Snooki (who is promoting her new book Gorilla Beach) added that she also wants to add a little animal print to her nursery.
“If it’s a boy, it’s gonna be maybe something Disney or safari. If I have a girl, it’s going to obviously be animal print … zebra, leopard and pink,” she said.
Poor him/her. Snooki also told Celebuzz what it’s like to return to the latest, greatest season of Jersey Shore, despite being with child.
“We’re still working that out. I don’t know where I’m gonna be living, or my involvement, just because I’m pregnant and I want to be as healthy as possible with it. But I couldn’t picture myself not being a part of it.”

Justin Bieber in GQ: Don’t Trust Anyone

Justin Bieber has learned a lot in Hollywood – and, unfortunately, not all of the lessons have been positive.
“I keep my guard up a lot,” the singer says in the latest issue of GQ. “Because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business. That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”
Clearly, that’s not entirely true for the Biebs, considering his close Selena Gomez.
Elsewhere in the interview, responds to a question about alcohol intake with:
“For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before… but I never get out of control.”

Elin Nordegren and Jamie Dingman: It’s Over!

A friend of Elin’s confirmed the breakup, saying:
“She says Jamie’s a great guy, and they’re still friends, but I think it was just too early after the divorce for her to get serious with anyone.”
True. It may take many years to get over that.
There’s no truth to reports this week that things were heating up between Elin Nordegren and Jamie Dingman, who were first romantically linked last summer.
The two were allegedly seen at Saturday’s NHL playoff game between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals, but in fact, she wasn’t even there.
Elin Nordegren takes the rumors in stride, says her friend.
“Elin finds it hilarious to read news about her that people make up,” the friend says, adding that she’s focused on raising her two young kids with Tiger.
Nordegren, who lives with the kids in North Palm Beach, Fla., is getting a psychology degree while overseeing construction of a new ocean-front mansion.
No word if anything specific triggered Nordegren’s split from Dingman, who amazingly once quasi-dated Rachel Uchitel of all people. Small world.
Jennifer Lopez Leads Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list for the first time.
A few years ago it looked like Lopez was done, too. Her albums failed to find the broad audience she once enjoyed, and several of her movies were flops.
Then in 2010 the singer landed a judge’s chair on American Idol. The job gave her a platform to promote her music and turn her image around. She did.
She also split with husband, Marc Anthony, a move that, while said, gave J. Lo even more media attention and subsequent big-money endorsement deals.
With contracts for L’Oreal and Gillette, a line of clothing at Kohl’s, a fragrance, and a whopping $20 million Idol salary, she’s got it made here in 2012.
Her 6.6 million followers on Twitter and 12 million fans on Facebook are a testament to her social popularity, as well, cementing her #1 Forbes ranking.
Lopez unseats Lady Gaga, who topped the list last year.
The pop star slides to fifth place this year with $52 million in earnings, down from $90 million last year (the Gaga didn’t tour much in the last 12 months).
In second place is Oprah Winfrey, whom Gaga unseated for No. 1 last year. Winfrey had a rough 12 months, too. Oprah’s down years are #2 overall.
Ranking third on our list is Justin Bieber, with $55 million in the past year thanks to touring and record sales. Rihanna came in at #4 in the rankings.

Jenelle Evans: Engaged to Gary Head!

Jenelle Evans is engaged. Seriously. She broke the news herself on Twitter.
The “lucky” man is Gary Head, who she dumped and dedicated this hilariously angry video to just a couple of weeks ago! How quickly times change!
No word on when theyeven got back together, but the troubled Teen Mom 2 star revealed that she and Gary are getting married this morning.
Jenelle Evans posted a photo of the engagement ring from Head, with the message “I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have @gary_head in my life.”
Details are few and far between so far, though Jenelle has re-tweeted a bunch of people reporting that the two are engaged, so that sort of proves it.
She also replied to a follower who asked if Gary Head got the ring from a gumball machine – nicely played, follower – with a simple “no he def didn’t.”
The engagement comes out of virtually nowhere, as she and bad boy ex Kieffer Delp were back together when she had her boob job … this month.
Kieffer’s apparently out of the picture again, though, leaving Gary Head to see Jenelle Evans nude for the rest of their lives … or at least probably May.
