Oprah Winfrey To Receive Kennedy Honor (And Is A Little Indulgent About It!)

This morning, this year’s list of Kennedy Honor recipients was announced. Leading the pack is Oprah Winfrey, whose billionaire status is only surpassed by what she has given back to others, on an off her talk show.
That might sound a little bit like brown-nosing, but don’t worry, we haven’t said anything about her Oprah wouldn’t say about herself!
When asked how she felt about the extreme honor, Oprah didn’t seem that surprised to be getting it. She told sources:
“When I’ve done them in the past for people, it has always felt a little bit like being bombarded with a love festival that is about you, and you know that’s gotta feel good…I love surprising people, I don’t like being surprised. Releasing any kind of control over a show and allowing myself to sit there and be surprised is not going to be easy but I’m willing to do that.”

The other esteemed honorees this year include dancer, choreographer and director Bill T. Jones, country singer-songwriter Merle Haggard, Broadway composer and lyricist Jerry Herman and legendary former Beatles member, Paul McCartney.

We long for the days when we could catch a RARE glimpse of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx out and about with his girlfriend, Kat Von D. Good times.
But that’s all over now. Now, Kat is hanging all over that walking, talking, breathing dirtbag Jesse James and we are bombarded with their skeezy faces everyday. But as difficult it is for us to stomach the sight of them, it’s a bit worse for Nikki.
He told sources that while he hopes the “best” for Kat and holds no grudges towards her, he still admits it is “hard” to see her move on. He explained:
“You know, it’s hard when you [were] just told by someone you dated for two-and-a-half years that you’re the love of their life … and then they move on so quickly.”
You know what? You should fight for her! Save her from herself and that loser!

Teresa Giudice Quitting Real Housewives Of New Jersey?!

Her crazy would actually be missed!
Prostitution Whore may not be the only castmember of Real Housewives of New Jersey not returning for season three, because it seems like Teresa Giudice is unlikely to sign a new contract for the smash reality series!
Sources report that the housewife is furious with the network because of a deal over her cookbook, Skinny Italian. Giudice allegedly gave Bravo 10% of the royalties from her best-seller, and in return they promised to shoot scenes for the series that promoted the book. Footage was shot, but it never aired, so she refuses to work with them again!
An insider reveals:
“Teresa is done with Bravo, I don’t think any amount of money will make her come back.”
Well, given her financial troubles, we seriously doubt that!
But this new is a bummer!
We’re going to miss watching her beg to be spanked! And what will her children do, when no one is around to film them crawling all over one another and screeching in their matching dresses?!
We’re sad to say that the next season of this show is going to be very different from when we last left it, and without Teresa or Dina, they may be better off throwing in the towel!

Jolie Visits Flood-ravaged Pakistan

Angelina Jolie has flown to Pakistan as part of her duties as a United Nations (UN) ambassador to visit victims of the country’s devastating floods.

The Tomb Raider star has already handed over $100,000 of her own money to help those worst affected by the disaster.
UN officials have confirmed she arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday to speak with refugees who have been displaced by the floodwaters – and the star hopes the publicity around her visit will boost aid efforts.
She told reporters, “I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan.”
More than 1,500 people have been killed after torrential downpours caused the worst flooding in the country for a century.
McCord’s Number Posted On Facebook

Actress Annalynne Mccord was left feeling exposed after an angry motorist allegedly posted her number on a social networking site.

The 90210 star was driving her sister Angel’s Mini Cooper in Los Angeles last week when she was allegedly involved in a collision with another vehicle.
According to TMZ.com, the actress accepted blame for the incident and apologetically passed her cell phone number to the other motorist so he could contact her for insurance details.
But McCord claims the number was later posted on Facebook.com – and the motorist has reportedly admitted he is responsible.
He tells TMZ.com he acted in revenge after receiving an angry call from Angel McCord following the accident.
Gaga Lawyer Threatens Comic Bosses

A lawyer working for Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber has threatened legal action against comic book creators over a series of unauthorised cartoon strips.

The Poker Face hitmaker and teen sensation Bieber have both been animated as part of a series of graphic biographies by Bluewater Productions. The Gaga version was released in June and the Baby singer’s comic is due to come out next month.
But the pair’s attorney Kenneth Feinswog is seeking to block the publications – he has served the company with a cease-and-desist letter, threatening to sue Bluewater bosses if the books aren’t pulled.
Publisher Darren G. Davis is refusing to bow under pressure – and insists his animators are well within their rights to create comic strips from celebrities’ lives.
He says, “We are 100 per cent within our first amendment rights. We knew our rights on this before we jumped into the biography world. These are 100 per cent biographies on their lives.
“We reach out to all the celebrities and some choose to work with us and some do not. If they do choose to work with us, we donate ads and money to a non-profit (organization) of their choice. We offered the same deal to Bieber’s people.”
Taylor Swift and soccer star David Beckham have already had comic characters created in their image by Bluewater staff.
