Lady Gaga treated Beyonce to a cracking surprise on her birthday – by presenting her Telephone collaborator with a diamond-studded whip.
[/img]
The R&B superstar turned 29 on Saturday and her pal Gaga ensured her day was a naughty one by ordering the custom-made leather toy and a matching lingerie set.
Gaga also treated Beyonce to an a capella rendition of Happy Birthday backstage at Jay-Z’s concert with Eminem in Detroit, Michigan last week.
A source tells Britain’s The Sun, “Gaga wanted to give her something special. The whip was made out of hundreds of diamonds and leather.
“When Beyonce received it she squealed with excitement. The dressing room was decorated with balloons and banners and a lot of champagne had been put on too.”

Las Vegas officials have defended their decision to expedite Paris Hilton’s recent release from jail, insisting the socialite needed to be discharged quickly to avoid any disruptions to normal operations.
[/img]
The heiress was arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession last month and taken to Sin City’s Clark County Detention Center, where she waited just three hours until she was freed.
The average booking time for individuals facing the same charge is six hours – but jail officials admit Hilton was given preferential treatment for her own protection.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief Jim Dixon, who runs the centre, claims Hilton needed to be rushed through the booking process in order to get her into an individual room and out of the prison as soon as possible.
He explains to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “She was treated differently so I don’t have a disruption of my process here at the county jail.
“When you bring somebody in like that, everybody comes over and tries to look at them. I’d have officers attempting to keep inmates away from her. I’d have disruptions.”

Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick has slammed reports he’s reunited with Jessica Szohr, despite publicly kissing her at a U.S. Open tennis match earlier this month.
[/img]
The star, who began dating his TV colleague in 2008, split from Szohr in April but the pair has faced constant speculation they have rekindled their romance.
Reunion rumours were further fuelled when Westwick was photographed kissing and cuddling the actress in the crowd at a tennis match in New York last Wednesday.
But the 23 year old insists he is still a bachelor because he has no time to date.
He tells Britain’s Closer magazine, “I’m single! My English accent drives American girls crazy but I haven’t got time for romance. I’ve always been in love with Rachel Weisz, but sadly she’s taken.”

Miley Cyrus’ mother has followed in her famous daughter’s footsteps – she wants to legally change her name.
[/img]
Cyrus’ country singer dad Billy Ray and mum Leticia named their daughter Destiny Hope when she was born in 1992.
They quickly dubbed her Smiley due to her cheerful nature, which was later shortened to Miley, and the Hannah Montana star officially took on her moniker in 2008.
Now her mother is following suit – Leticia has filed to have her name changed legally to her nickname Tish. In the application papers, she insists she has been known by the moniker “for as long as she can remember”, according to TMZ.com.
