The Choice Casts Joe Jonas, Pauly D, The Situation, Rob Kardashian & More!

The Choice, Fox’s new dating show with thematic elements similar to The Voice, has cast a variety of singers, actors, models and reality stars galore.
Joe Jonas, Dean Cain, Tyson Beckford, Taylor Hicks, Jersey Shore‘s Pauly D and The Situation, Rob Kardashian and other dudes will compete for love.
The Choice’s female celebrities include Miss USA wild child Rima Fakih, actress Carmen Electra and models Hope Dworaczyk and Sophie Monk.
As hinted in The Choice promo, four stars sit in spinning chairs with their backs to a group of non-famous prospective dates, who pitch themselves.
Over the course of three rounds, the contestant pool is pared down until each celeb has chosen their date for the evening. Sounds easy enough.
Although none of the celebrities on the show bombed with the contestants, Jonas, Cain and Beckford were particularly sought after, apparently.
Five of the episodes on the show, which premieres June 7, will feature the male celebrities, while one episode puts women in the power seats.

iPhone 5 Rumors: Changes Worth Waiting For?

What can we expect from the forthcoming, invariably awesome iPhone 5?
The next version of Apple’s revolutionary device hasn’t even been unveiled yet, but that hasn’t stopped experts (and consumers) from speculating on what features it might have, and more importantly, when it’ll go on sale!
Here’s what is known and rumored about the iPhone 5 thus far:
Colors! Apple has filed patents involving carbon fiber, which could also provide more strength to the phone’s body and a potential new added benefit: color.
Durability! Apple acquired rights to use a product from a company called Liquid Metal Technologies, which could offer the frame more elastic properties.
In other words, your piece will break less easily when you drop it on the street.
Bigger Design: Many new Android phones sport 4-4.5 inch screens, so Apple is feeling the pressure to increase screen size from its current 3.5.
Rumors also project a 20 percent thinner iPhone 5, decreasing from the 9.3mm iPhone 4S to a sleeker 7.4mm, plus a new dock connector.
Processor: The new iPad sported the faster A5X processor, some predict an even faster A6 processor with a gig of RAM in the new iPhone.
The inclusion of LTE, a faster processor and a bigger screen all mean a greater drain on the battery, which would likely be addressed as well.
Timing: Every year Apple hosts a developer conference in San Francisco in June, however, analysts are betting on October for a new release.

Casper Smart: All About J. Lo!

He’s much more than a boy toy at this point, folks.
Following six months of dating, marriage talk is surfacing between Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez, with a source telling People magazine that the 25-year old dancer treats his woman “like a queen.”
“Casper centers everything on Jennifer,” this insider adds.
The couple reside together in J. Lo’s Hidden Hills mansion, and Smart is photographed constantly these days around Lopez’s twins, Max and Emma.
Has Lopez fallen too hard too quickly? She and Casper will tour together this summer, with Jennifer singing and Smart choreographing.
A Lopez family friend does acknowledge that some in J. Lo’s inner circle “worry that Casper will take advantage of her,” but the American Idol judge just can’t help herself. She even admitted as much during a recent press conference, saying:
“I’m a bit of a romantic, if you hadn’t noticed.”

Well, this took a very different direction than one would assume from the lyrical content of the track!
But given the sexy pictures we saw of roughed up and action-hero’d out, we knew we were going to be in for a visual treat!
Ch-ch-check out the just-released music video for Maroon 5‘s new single with Wiz Khalifa, Payphone, off of their forthcoming album Overexposed (above)!
Obviously, the band put aside the more reflective, soulful aspect of the music for a more, ahem, Michael Bay approach while shooting this, but it certainly looks like this was some good acting prep work for the frontman’s upcoming role on American Horror Story!

Blink 182 Cancels Tour Dates Because Of Drummer’s Tonsillectomy

This will be a HUGE bummer for any fans who were looking forward to seeing their favorite pop-punk band this month!
Blink 182 has had to cancel or reschedule several tour dates, along with their appearance at this year’s Bamboozle, due to drummer Travis Barker‘s emergency tonsillectomy.
Since recovery is expected to take over a few weeks, the band has rescheduled their May 10th and 11th concerts at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, OK for September 13 and 14, 2012.
The rest of the dates are not so lucky. Here are six shows that WILL NOT be rescheduled and have just been cancelled:
May 15 at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY
May 17 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH
May 18 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT
May 19 at The Bamboozle in Asbury Park, NJ
May 20 at Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, PA
May 22 at Colisee Pepsi Arena in Quebec City, Canada.
The boys apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the cancelations and thank their fans for their ongoing support. Anybody who wants a refund should talk to the agency they purchased their ticket from.

Kristen Stewart Fosters The People Party In Paris!

Kristen Stewart landed in Paris on Tuesday in preparation for the Cannes Film Festival, where she’ll be reppin’ the visual version of Jack Kerouac’s classic On The Road.
But before the feast of films begins on May 16th, K-Stew is apparently in a partying mood as she was spotted ragin’ it up at a parisian nightclub with members of Foster The People and Metallica!
Photographer Andy Barron who is currently on tour with Foster The Peeps, tweeted about his K-Stew experience:
“Pretty sure i just danced in a club in paris with @sydney_lopez, a chihuahua, kristen stewart, & lars from metallica. this is all 100% true.”
Awww poor, serious R-Patz is without his vampire queen! Don’t you know you can’t control a sparkly demon of the night??
We hope K-Stew didn’t munch on some Metallica blood!

John Travolta’s Flight Records Easily Disprove His First Accusers Story

It looks like John Travolta will easily be able to avoid coughing up $2 million to the first masseuse that has accused him of sexual assault.
John Doe #1, as the anonymous man is being referred to, provided pretty significant proof.
On top of a receipt from an NYC restaurant and pictures from that day, flight records show that Travolta jetted from LAX at 8:21pm on January 15 and landed in Westchester County, NY at 3:59am. Furthermore, he was actually staying at the Greenwich Hotel on the day that he supposedly touched his scrotum and peen in front of the massage specialist.
That’s pret-ty solid proof from Travolta’s camp, but his accuser doesn’t seem to be backing down. In fact, he would prefer if the world stopped talking about the issue (good luck with that) because “too often these matters are decided by swaying public opinion.”
While still remaining anonymous, the man has finally spoken out. He asks that nobody “form any opinion” about any parties involved in the lawsuits before they go to trial. In a statement he issued the press, John Doe #1 writes:
“Despite the circus that celebrity matters seem to spiral into, we should grant all parties involved a wait-and-see attitude, and wait for either the official decision of a judge and jury, or the possibility of a dignified discussion between people who are not pit bulls, or aces, or anything, but are actually officers of the court (lawyers) who have sworn an oath to protect the justice system from losing its blind lady of justice with scales and replacing her with the days of Salem Witch Hunts.”
Now that’s what we call a run-on sentence! LOL!
We hate to be the people who break it to this guy, but he’s living in a fantasy world. When you file a lawsuit against a major Hollywood movie star and accuse him of sexual assault and battery, the world is GOING to talk about it. People are going to want to know the details of the case and they are going to form an opinion one way or the other.
Speaking of which, do U think that John has successfully vindicated himself from the first lawsuit’s accusations or is there still a chance he’s guilty?
