Jackson’s Brother Visits King Of Pop’s Grave On His Birthday

Michael Jackson’s brother Randy paid an emotional visit to the King of Pop’s final resting place to wish the late singer a happy 52nd birthday on Sunday.

Jackson arrived at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California with flowers and met with fans gathered at the cemetery.
And he took time to address the ongoing battle to seek someone responsible for his brother’s June 2009 death.
The superstar’s physician Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter. His trial was recently set for the beginning of 2011.
Speaking outside Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Randy Jackson told X17Online.com, “I’m not real crazy about some of the things I read… some of the things he (Murray) says. I have good faith in our courts and judicial system, so I think justice will be served.
“I’m going to leave it in God’s hands.”

Seven doctors who had treated the late Michael Jackson will not face charges, unlike Dr. Conrad Murray who was charged with involuntary manslaughter in February.
Investigators decided not to bring charges against the other doctors even though one of the doctors was referred to the state medical board for prescribing meds to one of Jackson’s aliases.

Joe Jackson Drags Katherine Into Wrongful Death Suit!

Joe Jackson‘s attorney Brian Oxman is naming Katherine Jackson and Michael Jackson‘s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, as “nominal plaintiffs” in the wrongful death lawsuit Joe is filing against Dr. Conrad Murray.
Katherine’s lawyer Adam Streisand says:
“Mrs. Jackson has no interest in Conrad Murray other than seeing that justice is done in the criminal courts. She certainly would never tap Brian Oxman for the job of filing any kind of lawsuit for her or the kids.”

Joe Jackson Sues Dr. Murray’s Clinics Too!

On the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson‘s death, Joe Jackson is still trying to get every last dime he can get by now going after the clinics where Dr. Conrad Murray worked, claiming they are also responsible for his son’s death.
According to the suit, Joe is suing Acres Home Heart & Vascular Associates and GCA Holdings, stating that the “Defendants conduct of attempting to conceal the multi-state supply of drugs and the use of their facilities in Texas and Nevada to obtain medications was an extreme departure from the standard of care.”
The clinics are also being accused of negligently training Dr. Murray, specifically in the administration of Propofol.
It seems a little far-fetched to go after the clinics, but that’s where the money is and Joe Jackson knows it!

We’re not sure if that’s wise, but he’s pretty sure of himself!
Dr Conrad Murray is adamant that he has done nothing to contribute to the death of Michael Jackson – so much so, that he refuses to accept a plea bargain!
The doctor is “completely confident” that he will be acquitted, so he will not plead guilty to manslaughter or any lesser offense. Although he does suspect that the medical boards in Texas, Nevada and California will be less forgiving. Murray believes it’s inevitable that they will go after his license.

Dr. Conrad Murray‘s legal team has come up with a verrrrrry interesting defense for their client’s trial!
Dr. Murray’s lawyers will be arguing the defense that Michael Jackson administered the deadly dose of Propofol to himself!!!
Oh, really?
Sources say the defense plans to argue the fact that Dr. Murray only administered 25 mg of Propofol to MJ, but when he left the room to use the bathroom (for two minutes), Jackson self-injected the rest of the bottle (close to 20 ml) because he was “frustrated”!
The defense will also be arguing that MJ “liked to push it” when it came to his sleeping meds, and if Dr. Murray had been trying to hide the bottles of Propofol from the authorities, why didn’t he hide the one that rolled under MJ’s nightstand?
Hmmm.

We can’t believe we actually agree with Joe Jackson on something!
MJ‘s dad has told media outlets that he’s “horrified” that the defense is planning on arguing that Jackson accidentally killed himself, not Dr. Murray!
“I don’t believe it. It’s not true. Why would he hide all the bottles if such a story were true?” asked the original Poppa Joe.

Prosecutors Want To Suspend Dr. Murray’s License!

We agree!
California prosecutors have filed court papers to suspend Dr. Conrad Murray‘s medical license as part of the terms while he’s on bail.
Murray has already been barred from administering drugs such as the Propofol which resulted in the death of Michael Jackson, but the prosecutors don’t want him practicing medicine at all.

Conrad Murray’s Going Down – On Friday!

It’s been a long time coming!
On Friday, Dr. Conrad Murray will turn himself in the LAPD and finally be charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.
The doctor will be booked and taken to Airport Court in El Lay, Division 144, where he will face a judge around 1:30pm.
And good thing for all us looky-loos, there will be a pool video camera and still camera to document the happenings!

Dr. Conrad Murray, who is currently being investigated for providing Michael Jackson with the drugs that caused his death, is now in Los Angeles and plans to cooperate with the D.A.’s office and LAPD as they charge him this week with Involuntary Manslaughter.
