Chart-topping rapper Eminem hinted that he would be interested in playing the Riddler in Christopher Nolan’s next Batman movie.
However, Johnny Depp and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are also in talks for the role.
“When it comes to business, you know I ain’t no fiddler…You tell tem Batman biggies, I wanna play “The Riddler!” said Eminem to his reps.
A rapping Riddler? That sounds intriguing, but the Riddler also has to be conniving and evil, not a thug.
Sorry Eminem, but we’re not sure you have the acting chops for this role!

Sources close to the franchise reveal that the last standing original American Idol judge will most definitley be back for the next season, but that an official announcement will be made when the rest of the panel is revealed.
And what of the other judges? Who are they? When will we know more?
According to a second source, that’s all still up in the air. The rest of the judge’s table remains to be officially filled, but as we mentioned previously, its rumored we should know the rest of the crew sometime after Labor Day!
That is, unless some pretty-faced, pain in the ass diva from the block doesn’t continue to hold things up!

Carey Corrects Confused Cannon

Mariah Carey berated her husband Nick Cannon online after he tweeted fans the wrong title of her upcoming Christmas album.

The superstar is preparing a disc of holiday classics, which will include a remix of her huge hit Merry Christmas which topped the charts globally in 1994.
Cannon boasted to his Twitter.com followers that he had an exclusive on the album’s title, writing: “Mariah Carey’s New Album Titled ‘Merry Christmas II You’.”
But his bemused wife had to correct the America’s Got Talent host, tweeting back: “NickCannon that’s not a confirmed title Dearest heart! I never said what kind of an album it is My Love! What?”

The CW, home of The Tiz’s new show Hellcats, is looking to break a world record on Saturday.
The network has invited squads from around the country to participate in a 5-minute choreographed dance at the Frisco Memorial Stadium in Frisco, TX. The goal is to set a new record for “Largest Cheerleading Dance” at a single venue!
If being a part of breaking a world record isn’t enough incentive, how about $4,000?! The squad who brings the most cheerleaders is awarded the prize!
Sounds like fun and, more importantly, the cheapest way to get more media coverage than they could have possibly ever paid for!
Well done, marketing squad!

Patton Joins Cruise For New Mission: Impossible

Tom Cruise has a new leading lady – Paula Patton has reportedly signed on to play the female star in the fourth Mission: Impossible movie.

Deadline.com reports that Robin Thicke’s wife will take on the role of a young operative opposite Cruise in the latest blockbuster in the franchise, which will start shooting in Canada, Dubai and the Czech Republic later this year.
The film, directed by Brad Bird, is scheduled to hit cinemas at the end of 2011.
Gabor Released From Hospital

Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has been released from hospital after a reported medical emergency on Tuesday morning.

The 93 year old was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles after her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, found her “unresponsive” at home.
She was stabilised in the facility and a family spokeswoman revealed Gabor was “not in a life-threatening situation”.
The star was released from the hospital early on Wednesday and is currently resting at home, von Anhalt tells ETOnline.com.
Fears for Gabor’s health have been mounting in recent weeks following a series of hospital visits. A priest read her Last Rites during her last hospital stay in mid-August.
Dion Upset By False Pregnancy Complication Reports

Celine Dion’s publicist has reacted quickly to dismiss French reports suggesting the pregnant singer has suffered a major health setback.

The singer, who is expecting twin boys in November, was said to have been taken to hospital following pregnancy complications, but Dion’s rep insists the report is “completely fabricated”.
The unnamed aide tells People.com, “She’s never been in the hospital. Her pregnancy continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic.
“(Celine and her husband Rene Angelil) have gotten calls from friends worried that something is wrong. To be so happy and then to get these calls, it’s been upsetting for them when they are in such a good place.”
The website reports Dion has so far gained 33 pounds (14.9 kilograms) during her pregnancy, and credits her good health to regular acupuncture treatments and plenty of rest.
Her rep adds, “As with most women expecting multiples, her doctor wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible as she finishes her pregnancy.”
The singer suffered a miscarriage last year as she attempted to carry her second child to term. Dion and Angelil have a nine-year-old son, called Rene Charles.
