Bono Shoots Down Billionaire Reports Following Facebook Flotation
May 19th
U2 rocker Bono has shut down rumors he is set to become one of the richest rockers in the world after Facebook.com’s flotation on the stock exchange.
The social networking site became one of the stock market’s largest ever flotations, with the site eventually being valued at $105 billion, more than McDonalds and Amazon.com, when trading closed on Friday.
Bono was rumored to overtake Sir Paul McCartney in the money stakes thanks to his 2.3 per cent stake in the site which his investment group snapped up for $90 million in 2009.
It was believed the deal would net him around $1.5 billion, outstripping McCartney’s reported fortune of $1 billion, but the superstar insists the Beatles legend is still the richest man in music.
He tells MSNBC, “Contrary to reports, I’m not a billionaire or going to be richer than any Beatle – and not just in the sense of money, by the way, the Beatles are untouchable – those billionaire reports are a joke.”

Nick Stahl’s Wife: ‘I Want My Husband To Come Home’
May 19th
The wife of Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines star Nick Stahl has gone public with her concerns about the missing actor.
The star disappeared over a week ago and Rose Murphy Stahl filed a missing persons report on Monday, sparking a police search for the troubled actor.
So far, the authorities have no leads as to Stahl’s whereabouts – but one unnamed pal told Eonline.com that he had no concerns about his famous friend’s welfare, because he often takes off for days at a time.
But Murphy Stahl says, “Everyone is extremely worried about him. He has never disappeared for more than a day before. This time he has been gone for 10 days and we are extremely concerned about his well-being.”
And she tells E! News, “I want my husband to come home. He is an amazing father and we miss him.”
Rose filed custody papers in February to ensure that her estranged husband had only supervised visits with their two-year-old daughter, Marlo, and insisted he submit to drug tests.
However, she claims Stahl is on his way to recovery after years of drug abuse: “He wants to be well. He’s a good man and we want him home so we can help him.
“It’s extremely concerning that no one anywhere has seen him. I am begging everyone to keep a look out for him. His family needs him. Please help bring him home.”

Boy George Waiting To Be Allowed Back In To U.S. To Start Culture Club Tour
May 19th
Boy George has confirmed the Culture Club reunion tour will take place once he is allowed back in the US following his 2005 drugs arrest.
The 80s band planned to reunite and hit the road last year to mark the Karma Chameleon hitmakers’ 30th anniversary, but the trek never materialised.
Now frontman Boy George insists the group wants to kick off the jaunt in America, but he will only be able to work Stateside when authorities allow him back into the country. He was famously arrested in New York in 2005 when police discovered cocaine in his apartment after he falsely reported a burglary. He was sentenced to five days community service and fined.
The singer tells Britain’s Daily Express, “(The reunion) is definitely going to happen, probably next year. We’ve written stuff and been in the studio. But we want to start in America and at the moment I’m not allowed in America so I’m waiting to get my visa.
“Our original producer Steve Levine is working with us. It’s gone full circle and we have all the original members which is really great.”

Mila Kunis’ Alleged Stalker Held On $150,000 Bail
May 18th
A man charged with stalking actress Mila Kunis has been placed on $150,000 bail after pleading not guilty to the crime.
Stuart Lynn Dunn was arrested in Los Angeles earlier this month after following the Black Swan beauty to her gym three days in a row.
Kunis contacted cops on the third day after Dunn allegedly confronted her in the parking lot as she left the building, and he was subsequently charged with two counts of felony stalking.
He appeared in court on Friday and protested his innocence, but the judge expressed concerns about Dunn’s behavior and set bail at the unusually high figure of $150,000.
The judge also issued a new protective order against Dunn as part of his bail terms, banning him from going anywhere near Kunis.
The 27-year-old suspect had previously been ordered to stay away from Kunis for three years after breaking into her vacant home in January and inhabiting the property.
His next court date has been set for 31 May.

Raven-Symone Lashes Out At Tabloid’s Lesbian Speculation
May 18th
Actress Raven-Symone has hit back at tabloid speculation about her sexuality, insisting her love life is nobody’s business but her own.
The former child star found herself under the spotlight this week following a National Enquirer expose which suggested she had set up home in New York with rumored girlfriend AzMarie Livingston, a contestant on Tyra Banks’ reality TV show America’s Next Top Model.
The article prompted an annoyed Symone to take to Twitter.com on Friday and lash out at the claims, although she refused to set the record straight about her sexual orientation, insisting the information should be private.
In a series of tweets, she writes, “I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest. I’m not one, in my 25 year career, to disclose who I’m dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings (sic) to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.
“However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I’m not harming anyone. I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!”

May 18th
Will Smith lost his cool at the Russian premiere of his Men In Black sequel in Moscow on Friday when a male reporter attempted to kiss the actor on the lips during a red carpet encounter.
The I Am Legend star was caught offguard when the unnamed Ukrainian journalist grabbed him and tried to land a smooch on the stunned actor before a pre-screening interview.
In video footage of the incident, Smith appears to shove the guy away, saying, “Hey man, yo man, what the hell is your problem, buddy?”
The angered Hollywood actor then gave the man a light backhanded slap on the face before moving on down the red carpet.
Apologising to his next interviewer, Smith said, “Hey sorry, he tried to kiss me on the mouth. Joker. He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him!”

Monroe Met Kennedy For Emotional Hotel Summit, According To Explosive New Book
May 18th
Marilyn Monroe had an emotional showdown with America’s former First Lady Jackie Kennedy a month before her death in 1962 over her reported romance with the President, according to a revealing new book.
The tragic actress had threatened to go public with her affairs with John F. Kennedy and his brother Bobby, who was America’s Attorney General at the time, if her lover didn’t divorce his wife and marry her – and Jackie stepped in to make a personal plea to Monroe during a tense meeting at New York’s Carlyle Hotel, according to biographer Darwin Porter’s new book Marilyn: Rainbow’s End.
In an extract, published in America’s Globe magazine, the author writes, “Jackie begged Marilyn not to publicly humiliate her children in front of the world. She also pleaded with Marilyn not to make John, Jr. and Caroline the victims of a divorce.”
Porter claims Monroe was touched by her heart-to-heart with Jackie and agreed to keep her romances with the President and his brother a secret, but the biographer alleges the actress had one more big surprise for Kennedy on the day before her death in August, 1962 – she called to tell the President she had aborted his baby.
Hours later, Monroe was found dead in her Los Angeles home. Her passing was ruled a suicide, but Porter has unearthed evidence that suggests the star was murdered by Chicago Mob boss Sam Giancana for refusing to help Mafia bosses poison Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who the author claims idolised the actress.
In Rainbow’s End, the biographer also claims Monroe had lesbian trysts with Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich and Elizabeth Taylor, who she allegedly bedded after a Frank Sinatra party in 1961.
Porter also suggests Monroe turned down a marriage offer from her one-time husband Joe DiMaggio’s son, romanced Elvis Presley and Sinatra and was the star of a collection of sex tapes secretly filmed by Mafia bosses to ruin her.

Colin Firth Joins Reese Witherspoon In West Memphis Three Film
May 18th
British actor Colin Firth will join Reese Witherspoon in a controversial new biopic about the real-life murders of three Arkansas boy scouts.
The actress signed up last year to portray one of the slain boy’s mothers in the adaptation of journalist Mara Leveritt’s 2002 book Devil’s Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three, and now executives at Worldview Entertainment, the production company behind the film, have revealed Firth will be part of the cast too.
The announcement was made at the Cannes Film Festival in France this week, although it is not yet known what part Firth will play.
Devil’s Knot will be set in 1993, when the three kids were stabbed to death.
Then-teenagers Damon Echols, Jessie Misskelley, Jr. and Jason Baldwin were convicted for the bloody crimes in 1994 and imprisoned. The West Memphis natives, who maintained their innocence, were freed in 2011 after officials agreed there was significant doubt about their guilt.
Miskelley, Jr. and Baldwin will serve as co-executive producers on the project, which will be directed by Atom Egoyan.
Principal photography will begin in Georgia in June, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Witherspoon has yet to confirm or deny reports she is pregnant with her third child, but if the claims are true, Devil’s Knot will be her first film role after giving birth later this year.
