The Avengers: Biggest. Opening. Ever.

And… we have a new box office champion.
The Avengers earned a mind-boggling $200.3 million on Friday and Saturday, blowing past Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ($169.2 million) for the biggest opening weekend in Hollywood history.

Backed by incredibly positive reviews – as well as successful quasi prequels such as Iron Man and last summer’s Captain America – The Avengers raked in $80.5 million on Friday and is on pace for a record Sunday, as well.
“It’s not playing like just a superhero film,” says Dave Hollis, Disney’s executive vice president of distribution. “It’s playing like a huge, accessible-to-everyone, all-quadrant picture.”
The film currently has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, an A+ from CineScore and is already ranked number-31 on IMDb’s user-ranked Top 250 Movies list.
Here is your look at the top five films from the weekend:

Siri Gets Racist in iPhone Ad Parody

Looks like there may be a few bugs in the newest version of the iOS.
People have complained that Siri rarely does what you actually want and that she can have a difficult time with nuances of different languages.
We had no idea Siri was a closet racist, however, until just now.
In a parody from Funny or Die, the virtual iPhone assistant offers advice to an African-American gentleman based solely on racial stereotypes.

This is the second funniest spoof on the iPhone after last winter’s nuclear marital Siri argument. When in doubt … call your parole officer.
Other than that … swag, swag, swag, swag, swag.
Nadya Suleman Adult Film Shoot: Underway!

Octomom’s first day as a porn star is in the books.
The beleaguered, bankrupt mom of 14 completed her first day of XXX shooting at a porn mansion in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley Thursday, and it went well!
Octo (real name Nadya Suleman) is starring in a new film in which she will be pleasuring herself … since she refuses to do porn involving other human beings.
She was nervous at first, but got the hang of it.
Before the shoot, producers decided it would be a good idea to screen some porno flicks for the clearly nervous Nadya as an educational tool of sorts.
When it was time for Octomom to get down to business, TMZ reports that she was a pro. A source even said, “She was a natural. She looked great!!”
Yay!
No word on how much she’s making for the masturbation movie, but she may need to film a bunch of sequels to pay off at least $500,000 in debt.

Julie Benz and Rich Orosco: Married!
May 6th
Dexter star Julie Benz married Rich Orosco on Saturday.
The couple tied the knot at 6 p.m. at the historic John Sowden house in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles. The wedding featured a Mexican theme, in a nod to Cinco de Mayo and the groom, a marketing executive of Mexican heritage.
Engaged since last June, the actress, 40, first met Orosco, 39, five years ago, her rep confirmed at the time the engagement was announced.
Rich Orosco popped the question with a customized Kwiat cushion-cut diamond and platinum ring, complete with a diamond frame and milgrain edge band.

Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright: Married!
May 6th
Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright went looking for love on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, respectively, only to find it years later with each other.
The couple got married Saturday!
Peyton and Chris, who got engaged last year, tied the knot at Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston, S.C. The bride wore a gown by Melissa Sweet.
Their I-dos provide a happy ending for a courtship that started when a mutual Bachelor friend introduced the pair, who came up short on reality TV.
Not that the show didn’t provide them other opportunities – in love and work.
The landscaper from Massachusetts and his Dallas-born bride will star in Going Yard, premiering May 12 on HGTV. Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright be traveling the U.S. designing and decorating outdoor living spaces.
Among Lambton’s fellow Bachelorette alums invited to the nuptials were Craig Robinson, Tyler Vermette and even Roberto Martinez, whom Ali Fedotowsky got engaged to on the finale of her season, spurning Chris.
Let bygones be bygones, right? Congratulations, Chris and Peyton!

Amanda Bynes Involved in Hit-and-Run … Again!

Amanda Bynes was involved in another hit and run in Hollywood this weekend, but at least she apparently hit some random guy and not a cop.
A man claims he was sideswiped by a Range Rover trying to pass him on the right in L.A., and when the SUV didn’t stop, he called the police.
He also began to follow the SUV himself, and when he finally caught up to the Range Rover, sources say the driver was none other than Bynes.
The star told police she had no idea she had struck another vehicle, which is plausible, as police say damage to her car was quite minimal.
Law enforcement sources tell us Amanda was very cooperative with police and that they had her exchange information with the other driver.
She was not given a citation for the incident and cops will not be investigating the case any further … beyond the usual insurance rigamarole.
Bynes was arrested for DUI last month after she clipped a police car, and has basically continued crashing and partying in the 2-3 weeks since.

Tameka Foster to Usher: I Will F–k You Up!

Tameka Foster denies threatening to kill ex-husband Usher … but she did make several comments that she can understand being taken that way.
Usher and Tameka are in a legal fight over custody of their two young kids, a bitter showdown that played out in a Georgia courtroom this week.
Accused of making death threats toward her ex, Foster did admit under oath to saying “I will f**k you up” … which one can interpret as a threat.
Tameka was questioned by Usher’s attorney about her verbal and abusive threats towards the singer, whom she wed in 2007 and divorced in 2009.
She allegedly said “I will kill you both,” referring to Usher and his current GF.
Foster went back and forth with her answer before making a half-admission, saying she didn’t threaten to “kill” him … but admitting, “I probably have said, out of anger, say ‘I will f**k you up’ and that is not acceptable.”
Tameka Foster went on to explain that the menacing statement(s) happened as a result of Usher gallivanting in and out of town with his new girlfriend, behavior that was “embarrassing” for her in such a tight knit community.
More importantly … anyone know who this new girlfriend of Usher is?

Carson Daly and Siri Pinter: Expecting Again!

Carson Daly’s girlfriend Siri Pinter announced that the couple are expecting their second child. Sounds like she’s in prime nesting mode, too.
“The reason I’ve been baking so much… Look at all those cookies in my belly!” she wrote along with a photo of her adorable baby bump.
“Ok there is a baby in there too, and that baby has been living there for about 5 and a half months already! I am due early September.”
“We are beyond thrilled and blessed. I have been eating a lot of cookies.”
“Now that the cat is out of the bag, I will also be sharing some very exciting news with you about Monday a little later, so stay tuned.”
The duo already have a 3-year-old son, Jackson James Daly … could they be also tying the knot in the near future? We’ll see Monday.
